JST is one of the leading manufacturers of power transformers in the world, with a reputation for strong product quality and reliability.

Our strategy is based on three activities :

• Design, manufacturing and on-site erection of power transformers and reactors for production and transport of electric power,
• Design, manufacturing of traction transformers installed on board trains,
• Technical aid and maintenance related to the specialised know-how of transformer manufacture.

In order to increase customer satisfaction, we develop, in partnership with our customers, a privileged relationship, respectful of our commitments thanks to a flexible and competitive offer answering to their expectations and requirements during all the product life cycle.

The positive integration of all our partners, customers and suppliers, is essential to developing our strategy for continuous quality improvement, safety and health in the workplace as well as a commitment to environmental protection.

We particularly focus our attention on respecting standards and regulations, security of our products and on mastering our processes and on their continuous improvement -especially the spreading out of a 6S action (5S + safety)

All the processes necessary to our activities are constantly updated and perfected through measurable objectives defined each year, for all functions, during dedicated Management Review Meetings. Needful resources are provided to achieve these objectives.

Managerial staff implements this strategy, in an exemplary way, and our workforce is involved in and feel responsible for, its implementation in their day to day work.

We generate profits, with a view to continue investing in and facilitating the technical progress necessary for the long term future of our company - and to create the essential conditions necessary for a healthy and positive relationship with our customers.

Our management system, which fulfils the requirements of ISO 9001, IRIS and ISO 14001 standards, is certified by a recognized organization.

The Veritas Agency certifies that JST transformers’ company quality management system has been assessed and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 140001 Standards until 11th August 2011.
